Christmas with Friends: A Day Full of Joy, Laughter, and Belonging

If we could wrap up a feeling and put it under the tree, it would be Christmas with Friends.

This year’s celebration was everything we hoped for, and so much more. From the moment families walked through the doors, the room filled with laughter, excitement, and that unmistakable warmth that comes from being surrounded by people who get it. There were crafts and cookie decorating, games and prizes, familiar faces and new friendships forming in real time.

One of the most beautiful parts of the day was watching our friends be exactly who they are: comfortable, confident, and celebrated. No pressure. No expectations. Just joy. Parents connected with other parents who understand the journey, siblings played side by side, and our friends shined in a space created just for them.

None of this would be possible without the incredible generosity of our community. Volunteers showed up with open hearts and helping hands. Donors and supporters made it possible to offer this event at no cost to families. Every detail, from the activities to the treats, was a reminder that when a community comes together with intention, truly magical things happen.

Christmas with Friends isn’t just a party. It’s a reminder of why Andre & Friends exists: to build inclusion, foster friendship, and create moments where everyone belongs.
